I have had an interest in photography since the age of 11. Upon leaving Oxford College and then Reading Art & Technology College I worked in a professional laboratory for seven years, managed a Camera Specialist shop and undertook freelance work for the Wilts & Glos Standard newspaper in Cirencester whilst learning my craft as a photographer.

After gaining the professional photographic qualifications of LBIPP & LSWPP I worked for a modelling agency where I really took off, becoming the head photographer. I was involved in the Melinda Messenger launch and I have worked closely with the PR guru Max Clifford on many photographic projects.

After four years I branched out on my own; weddings and portraits being my love. I went from some work to being booked up to two years in advance within a very short space of time. Scotland & Oban has always been a draw to me and I relocated to Oban in 2005, closing a fifteen year chapter in my life to start a new venture here. Becoming a member of my local community is very important to me and being known for affordable pricing and high quality work is my aim.

No wedding, portrait, school, PR/Commercial or domestic job is too big or too small. Portraits to me are stuffy, boring & staged in a studio, when we have beaches, castles, lochs and glens, waterfalls aplenty. Location portraits are the way forward, capturing the person/persons more comfortably and naturally, I'm sure you would agree. Wedding photography, well say no more! Once again the landscape spoils us with castles & lochs, hotels are situated in beautiful surroundings making your wedding photographs ones to be cherished and remembered for ever.

School photography is fun, kids are great. Smiles - that is what we want. Commercial/PR photography is very specialised, yet with my experience high quality work is always guaranteed.
